As a portrait photography specialist in Brandýs nad Labem–Stará Boleslav, I focus on what matters most — capturing personality and emotion. My approach to portrait photography is dialog-based: I believe a successful image is created through communication between the photographer and the subject. My work is especially close to the female portrait, which for me is about more than external beauty. I want my clients to rediscover and see themselves anew through my lens. When preparing a shoot I put emphasis on comfort and clear communication. Before I press the shutter we have a conversation to refine the purpose of the portraits, choose locations and I recommend styling adjustments — from at-home makeup to the option of working with a professional makeup artist. During the session I work with slow, purposeful steps to guide even shy or uncertain people toward natural, authentic moments. Image editing is handled with respect for the photographed person — I apply gentle retouching so the result remains unmistakably you. I deliver final images both digitally (a password-protected gallery for selection) and as prints — I consider both formats important: digital for quick sharing, print for enjoyment and home decor. In addition to personal portraits, I create professional corporate headshots and presentations for small businesses. For these assignments I take a consultative approach and adapt the style to your needs, for example for LinkedIn or a company website. Corporate work is a complementary service for me; my main passion remains portraiture as a form of self-discovery.
