I’m Josef Krčil — a portrait photographer and cameraman based in Kutná Hora, focusing on natural, authentic portraits. For me, portrait photography is not only a technical craft but above all a meeting between people and an opportunity to capture character, emotion and personal story in a single frame. My work is built on a personal approach: I believe a great portrait is created in an atmosphere of trust and ease, so I like to talk with you before the shoot — in person or online — to understand your ideas and objectives. I specialize in portrait photography, offering both studio and outdoor sessions. I create portraits for personal use and social networks as well as professional business portraits and headshots suitable for websites, LinkedIn and corporate presentations. When working on business portrait projects I pay attention to the client’s communication needs — the outcome is imagery that looks credible, representative and still naturally expressive. My style combines a sensitivity to light and composition with an emphasis on natural expressions. I use high-quality equipment (Canon R6 and trusted lenses) and, when necessary, studio lighting to ensure consistent, professional results. I don’t aim for stiff posing — I want people to feel comfortable, so during the session I lead relaxed conversation, gently guide poses and look for authentic moments that reflect your personality. I offer practical support throughout the process: pre-shoot consultation, location or studio recommendations, guidance on wardrobe and styling, and optional collaboration with hair & makeup professionals. After the shoot I provide professional retouching and color grading, delivering high-resolution files as well as web-optimized versions for immediate use. Prints and additional delivery formats are available on request. Working with me is straightforward and fair: we arrange a preliminary consultation, agree on location or studio setup, carry out the shoot in a pleasant atmosphere and deliver edited photographs promptly in digital form.
