I am a portrait photographer based in Mělník, and portrait photography is my main specialization. I have worked with cameras since 2003 (my first SLR was a Nikon F80) and deepened my craft at the Secondary School of Photography (ŠKF) in Prague from 2005 to 2007. With more than fifteen years of professional experience, I work with a wide range of clients — from individual portrait sessions to corporate portraits and business photography for professional presentation. I aim to create a calm and friendly atmosphere so the resulting images reflect the subject’s natural character. My style is based on gentle guidance, conversation with the client, and sensitive use of light — the goal is an authentic portrait that works both for personal use and as a professional business portrait or LinkedIn headshot. How I work: before the shoot we agree on expectations and the intended use of the images — whether it’s a personal portrait, a headshot for a website, a corporate portrait, or business presentation photos. On location I work efficiently and pay attention to pose, expression, and composition. I shoot so that images are usable in various formats and media. After processing I offer final retouching at a reasonable level that enhances a client’s best features without excessive manipulation. My portrait experience also overlaps with work for companies and advertising, which gives me a good sense of how portraits function in marketing and corporate communication. I work with clients from Mělník and the surrounding area as well as from across the Czech Republic — flexibly and by arrangement at your chosen location, in natural environments, or on special photographic assignments.
