I'm Jan (Honza) Bobek and, under the brand Tvůj fotoportrét (Your Photo Portrait), I specialize in portrait photography. In Mladá Boleslav and the surrounding area I photograph people so that the final images bring genuine joy — portraits that are more than documentation, they are portraits of personality. My wife, Simča, works with me, which keeps sessions smooth and pleasant, even for more demanding family or children’s shoots. Why choose us? My working method combines technical precision (lighting, composition, sharpness) with a focus on expression and the story that appears in faces and gestures. That’s what makes our portraits lively and memorable. How does the collaboration work? Before the shoot we like to talk about your expectations — where the portrait will be used (website, print, social media), the mood you want, and how you feel most comfortable in front of the camera. Shoots can take place in our calm studio in Jizerní Vtelno, or outdoors in natural settings around Mladá Boleslav. During the session I guide subjects gently, assist with poses and expressions, and aim to capture natural moments. After the session I carefully retouch the images and offer large-format printing options so your photos can gain a new dimension on your home wall. In addition to classic personal portraits, we also produce professional business portraits for LinkedIn and corporate websites — adapting lighting and mood to the intended use so the portrait appears credible and professional. I also offer short consultations and workshops on posing and working with light if you want to improve your on-camera presence.
