I am a portrait photographer based in Hradec Králové and I photograph because I’m curious. I photograph people — portraits of those I’ve met and those I may meet again. My work is built on a simple idea: real moments are better than poses. That’s why I aim for a relaxed, natural approach that gives space to the client’s personality and emotions. I specialize in portrait photography — individuals, couples and family portraits. I don’t want to rehearse scenes; I want to get to know people. Ideally, we’ll have a short conversation before the shoot: I’ll learn what you like, where you feel comfortable and what result you expect. Together we’ll choose the style and location so the photos reflect your taste — sometimes a favourite spot in nature, other times a discreet urban corner or a night-time street if that’s what you prefer. My manner is friendly and unobtrusive — feel free to be informal with me while we work together. I try to create an atmosphere in which even those who are not used to being in front of a camera can be themselves. I work sensitively with natural light and with the moments that happen between the posed shots. That’s how portraits are created that don’t feel staged, but tell a story about personality and relationships. Photography for me isn’t just a service — it’s a way to record people as they are now, with respect for their taste and their story. I prefer nature to the city, I enjoy traveling, listening to good bands and growing little trees — all of which are reflected in my work: calm, patience and attention to detail.
