I’m Kateřina (Katka) Nevřelová and I see portrait photography as a way to freeze emotions — those small moments you want on your wall, not just in your phone. As a portrait and family photographer based in Opava, I create delicate, fine‑art–inspired images where atmosphere, light and natural expression take center stage. My approach is personal: we won’t rush, I listen, and I look for the story you want your portrait to tell. Why choose me? I’m an award-winning author (1st place, Photographer of the Year 2022 — Children’s Photography) and my work has been published in art publications. How I work: sessions take place in my Opava studio, in natural outdoor locations or at your home — wherever you feel most comfortable. The studio offers comfort, props and wardrobe available to borrow; with children we never rush, allowing time for nappy changes, feeding or simply play. The atmosphere is always relaxed, full of laughter and real moments — because those feelings translate into the photographs. My main focus is portrait photography and portraiture as a specialization; I also photograph families and offer professional business portraits when you need a representative image for LinkedIn or company presentation. I can also assist with final outputs — printing, photo canvases or stylish framing — so your images immediately work as beautiful home décor or a professional calling card.
