I specialize in portrait and corporate photography in Ostrava. I photograph editorial and corporate clients (Forbes, Hospodářské noviny), offering an individual approach, studio and on-location shoots.
Portrait photography is my primary specialization. I photograph portraits of public figures, executive leadership and editorial portraits for magazines and corporate materials. I have been working in photography since 1988 as a freelance photographer, collaborating with weekly and monthly magazines and corporate publications across the Czech Republic. My clients include, among others, Forbes, Hospodářské noviny, Vlasta and MF Dnes — I bring editorial and commercial experience to every portrait so the image performs well both in print and online presentation. I offer a specialized approach to portrait and business photography: I work with natural and studio lighting, I am experienced both in the studio and on location at the client’s premises, and I place emphasis on careful retouching and secure archiving of final images. Every assignment is handled individually — before the shoot we agree on the concept, and I direct you to create authentic images that reflect the client’s professional role (corporate portrait, portrait for annual reports, LinkedIn photo or an authorial editorial portrait). How I work: first comes a consultation focused on the intended use of the images, the desired style and the environment. This is followed by the shoot in the studio (studio space is available in the Dolní Vítkovice complex with the option of using daylight through the overhead glazing) or on location according to the brief. After selection of the images I offer professional retouching and the option of long-term archiving of photos for repeated use in the client’s materials. My approach prioritizes openness, professionalism and reliability — values I have emphasized since the beginning of my collaborations with editorial teams and companies. As a member of the Association of Professional Photographers of the Czech Republic I also cooperate with colleagues on larger commissions (graphic design, layout, print, PR) if the client requires a comprehensive delivery.
