My name is Daniel Schulz and portrait photography is my primary focus. Photography has been part of my life since childhood — my grandfather worked as a cameraman for Czechoslovak television, and my first steps in the darkroom taught me to respect light, decisive moments and the craft. Working with light and striving for an authentic expression are at the heart of my approach to the portrait. At fotoSchulz atelier in Olomouc I specialise in portrait photography that looks natural and professional. My wife Veronika, a professional makeup artist and my assistant, often supports the shoot with makeup and styling — this simplifies the session and contributes to professional results. During the session I prioritise client comfort and natural posing: I provide guidance and gentle adjustments that help even those who feel less confident in front of the camera. After you select the images, I perform tasteful post-production and retouching so you receive portraits suitable for personal presentation, corporate use or print.
