I am a portrait photographer based in Olomouc. Photography for me is not just an assignment — it’s a way to capture a person’s character: their mood, natural presence, and the small details that make a portrait unique. I often call myself a “PHOTOBARISTA” — a lover of photos and coffee — because I approach every session with openness, energy and a touch of humour. My path to portrait photography developed gradually: while studying biophysics I learned technical fundamentals, then I photographed concerts, weddings and families. All of that taught me to observe, react quickly and at the same time create a calm environment in front of the camera. Although I don’t have a classical academic art degree and I say I’m “not a professional photographer” in the academic sense, I devote myself to portraits intensively and with commitment — the result are authentic images with careful editing. My approach to clients is relaxed and personal. Before shooting I like to discuss your ideas, the atmosphere and the purpose of the portrait — whether you want a natural personal portrait, studio promotional images or a clean corporate portrait for LinkedIn. I work in studio and outdoors as needed; the choice of light, setting and subtle gestures is crucial to me. During the session I create a relaxed atmosphere, guide you to natural poses and look for moments that are truly yours. For corporate and business portraits I offer a professional yet relaxed style that works well on websites and professional profiles. I avoid overly stylized poses — the aim is for the portrait to feel trustworthy and representative.
