My name is Marek Mach and portrait photography is my primary focus. I work mainly around Šumperk and aim to make each portrait more than just a nice picture — it should be an honest record of personality. I see portrait photography as a meeting between photographer and person: the result should feel authentic, professional and human. Why choose me? I have many years of experience in portrait and reportage photography, I have taken part in competitions and my work has appeared in magazines. Thanks to that experience I can quickly establish rapport, work with various types of light and environments, and guide those who are not used to being in front of the camera. I follow a natural style — I don’t chase exaggerated poses but look for moments when the person appears as themselves. How does the collaboration work? Before the shoot we discuss your expectations and the intended use of the portrait (personal presentation, LinkedIn, website, print). On location, in a studio or outdoors, I create a relaxed atmosphere, advise on poses and lighting, and strive to make the session stress-free. After you select the images, I perform careful color and aesthetic edits — cropping, exposure correction, toning and removal of minor distractions — so the photos look professional, natural and are suitable both online and in print. I specialise in classic portraits and corporate headshots for LinkedIn and professional presentation. Being locally available in Šumperk allows me to offer flexible scheduling and a client-focused approach. Besides portraits I occasionally photograph families, maternity shootings or pets — but my main emphasis remains portrait photography.
