I’m Aneta Schürgerová — a portrait photographer and graphic designer based in Braník, Prague. I focus primarily on portrait photography, working with people who have little or no experience in front of the camera as well as with aspiring models. My goal is to capture each client’s natural beauty, confidence and personality in images that feel authentic and contemporary. My work is driven by a genuine interest in the person in front of the lens. I enjoy discovering and highlighting features clients often don’t notice themselves. My background in graphic design brings a strong sense of detail and composition to every portrait, while my love of fashion informs subtle fashion and glamour elements where they enhance the character of the shot. The result are portraits that are modern, stylish and true to the individual. I shoot from a relaxed, client-centered perspective. Sessions start with a friendly conversation about your expectations and ideas — together we choose the style, clothing and mood that suit your portrait. During the shoot I use gentle guidance, simple directions and staging that encourage natural emotion and expression to come forward. I support beginning models in finding their look and provide a comfortable environment for anyone seeking professional portraits for personal branding or social media. Sessions take place at Star Studio on Ledařská (Prague 4, Braník), where I create a calm, welcoming atmosphere to help even the most reserved clients relax. On request I can arrange a professional makeup artist to ensure make-up is camera-ready and suited to the chosen style. I photograph both in-studio and on location, depending on the aesthetic you prefer. Although portraiture is my main focus, I also offer family photography and, by request, corporate and LinkedIn headshots.
