I am MgA. Martin Hrubý, a portrait photographer based in Nusle. I studied at the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava and focus my practice primarily on portraits intended for publication and corporate promotion. For me, portrait photography is more than technique — it’s the ability to establish contact, create an atmosphere of trust, and capture the personality that needs to work in corporate settings and media communications. I specialize in corporate portraits and LinkedIn headshots, where natural expression, clean composition, and a consistent visual style are essential for PR materials and internal communications. I work both in a spacious studio in Nusle — equipped with a dressing room and a make-up area — and on client locations. With experience in photography for publications and corporate campaigns, I know how to prepare a portrait that performs well in print and online. My approach is personal and practical: we start with a short consultation to agree on the purpose of the images and the visual brief, and I prepare styling and lighting so the result looks authentic and professional. During the shoot I communicate calmly and clearly — I support posing and expression so that even less experienced people look natural. After the session I perform careful edits and retouching so the photos fulfill their professional purpose without losing character. For corporate clients I provide images ready for websites, annual reports, press materials, and social media. I communicate in Czech and English and, for larger assignments, collaborate with creative teams and production.
