Hello — I’m Jiří Karásek, a portrait photographer based in Brno. My work focuses on portrait photography: I look for natural expressions, an unforced atmosphere and results that genuinely reflect the client’s personality. I see a portrait as a conversation without words — my aim is for the photos to feel authentic, professional and at the same time personal. Why choose me? I approach portrait sessions without affectation. I communicate clearly, help those who are not used to posing, and create a calm environment where it’s easy to relax. As a graphic designer I pay close attention to composition and color, so the final images work equally well for personal presentation and corporate use — for example a professional LinkedIn photo or a company portrait that balances seriousness with approachability. How I work: we start with a short discussion about the style and purpose of the portrait to align expectations. During the shoot I focus on natural light and simple direction that gives space for genuine emotion. After the session I perform careful post-production so the photos look clean and professional without losing authenticity. If you wish, I can also prepare and retouch images for print or digital presentation thanks to my experience in graphic design. I mainly shoot in Brno and the surrounding area, and I’m happy to adapt the shooting style to the intended use — from personal portraits to professional corporate headshots and LinkedIn photos. As a supplement to portrait photography I occasionally offer video and aerial drone footage for clients who prefer a broader multimedia presentation (my primary focus, however, remains portrait work). My approach is based on listening, patience and the effort to capture what makes you unique.
