I am Roman Mácha — a portrait photographer from Brno focused on personal and corporate portraiture. My work is built on communication: I listen, create a relaxed atmosphere and look for the natural expression that gives a photograph character. Working with me is relaxed and often fun — I believe the atmosphere during the shoot shows in the final image. Before the session I like to have a short consultation to clarify expectations and choose the best location. During the shoot I give simple, clear directions that help even inexperienced subjects relax and appear natural in front of the camera. A portrait session with me includes careful post-processing. I prefer natural retouching that enhances the best features while preserving authenticity. For models, actors and professionals I also offer portfolio creation and advice on presenting your images — from digital files to prints and photobooks. I primarily photograph in Brno and the surrounding area, but I can travel anywhere in the Czech Republic by arrangement.
