I am Ivana Soukupová and portrait photography is where I dedicate much of my creative energy. My approach is rooted in naturalness and authenticity — I don’t look for exaggerated poses but for moments that reveal your true self. Whether you want intimate women's portraits, the subtle charm of black-and-white images, or photos suitable for a professional profile, I work so the final pictures tell your story. Sessions take place where you feel most comfortable: often at your home, where a single window and a simple chair are enough, or in my studio in Znojmo. A home environment gives photos authenticity — we capture you in the real context of life without unnecessary props. In the studio I use controlled light and a calm setting for portraits with a darker, tasteful character. I often retouch portraits into black-and-white to emphasize expression and emotion. During the shoot I will help you with natural posing and gentle direction — there’s no need to be an experienced model. With a patient and friendly approach, even those who feel uneasy in front of the lens relax. I aim to create an atmosphere in which laughter and calm guidance bring out genuine, unforced images. The result is always tasteful, discreet, and tailored to how you plan to use the photos — from personal portraits to images you can confidently use for a professional profile. I primarily work in the Znojmo area but I’m happy to travel wherever a great photo can be made.
